Team Management
TheTerms supports multi-tenant organisations with role-based access control. Each organisation is fully isolated — members can only see and manage content within their own organisation.
Key Capabilities
Section titled “Key Capabilities”- Invite team members by email address
- Assign one of four roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, or Viewer
- Change a member’s role at any time (requires Admin or Owner)
- Remove members from the organisation
- Pending invitations are visible and can be resent or cancelled
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything — including transferring ownership and deleting the organisation |
| Admin | Manage team members, create/edit/delete all containers, documents, and signing requests |
| Editor | Create and edit containers, documents, and versions; send signing invitations |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all containers, documents, and signing results |
Inviting a Team Member
Section titled “Inviting a Team Member”Invitations are sent by email. The recipient receives a link to accept the invitation and join the organisation. If they don’t already have an account, they’ll be prompted to create one.
