Account Settings

Account settings let you manage your personal profile and authentication methods.

Key Capabilities

  • Edit profile: Update your first and last name
  • Change password: Update your password (for email/password accounts)
  • Delete account: Permanently remove your account and all associated data

Authentication Methods

Section titled “Authentication Methods”

TheTerms supports email/password sign-in with bcrypt-hashed passwords. Each account has a single, fixed authentication method — there is no way to link or switch methods after signup.

Password Reset

Section titled “Password Reset”

If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page. You’ll receive an email with a reset link valid for 30 minutes. The link is single-use — it self-revokes after use.
