Clause Editor

The clause editor is where you build the content of a document version. Each document is made up of one or more clauses — discrete sections that signers can accept or reject independently.

  • Add, edit, and delete clauses within a document version
  • Rich text formatting: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headings, links, lists, blockquotes, and code blocks
  • Drag-and-drop reordering of clauses — reorganise sections without copy-pasting
  • Duplicate clauses to quickly reuse similar content
  • Real-time editing with auto-save

The clause editor is powered by TipTap v3, a ProseMirror-based rich text editor. Toolbar controls:
